Further Commonwealth-supported places are available for the Postgraduate coursework programs in Rangeland Management commencing in 2010 (ie. Grad Cert - 4 courses; Grad Dip - 8 courses; or Masters - 8 or 12 courses).
These places represent significant savings (ie. 55-65% reduction) on the published cost of the programs, and also provide the option of deferring payments through the HECS-HELP scheme. Student contribution amounts vary depending on the courses studied, and in 2010 will range from around $900 to $1100 for a 2-unit core or elective course (cf. $2200 for a full-fee paying student !) On top of this, there is a further discount if these fees are paid up front. This is a great opportunity for professional development, and indeed capacity building among your staff and board.
Entry to these programs is by:
- holding an approved degree (3 or 4 year) in a relevant area, OR
- demonstrating that a person is qualified for admission based on their post-secondary study and relevant work experience (ie. Recognition of Prior Learning - RPL).

Successful completion of a Rangeland Management program will earn a qualification from The University of Queensland, which will be nationally and internationally recognised.
