Youth Allowance guide released

The Chair of the National Rural Women’s Coalition, Ms Darriea Turley, announced today that her organization has prepared a guide for rural, regional and remote communities outlining the organisation’s current understanding of how the Youth Allowance scheme operates. The guide aims to inform young people and their families in rural, regional and remote locations about the basic rules and regulations of the scheme, and to highlight points where the proposed changes have most impact for rural people.
